The world is ever-changing, and as an individual, you grow and evolve right along with it. Each individual develops their own morals, opinions, and strength where they stand for those beliefs. There is no requirement for how much defense you put up, no amount of fight demanded, nor support expected from you. It's simply what you decide to put in and take away.

Hypocrisy U
A few years ago, there was a furor over a baker refusing to bake a cake for a gay couple. Those that supported the baker said that forcing him to bake the cake would infringe on the constitutional and religious rights that the country allows him. Yet that support seems to be very one-sided because when someone they agree with is denied service, those same people are up in arms and throwing fits about what is right and what is wrong. It's no longer a personal choice because their rights are being violated.

Who Is Really the Racist Here?
The Far Left insists the famous Trump "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) baseball cap is an overt sign of racism, very much akin to the wearing of white hoods by the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). In fact, any hat in support of the President is considered racist from their perspective. This surfaced again recently with the confrontation in Washington, DC between students of Covington Catholic and a Native American, where one of the students wore his MAGA hat and stood his ground without provoking any action. The mainstream media and the Left considered this outrageous behavior by the student, and called for disciplinary action or to cause harm to him. The truth is, of course, the student did nothing wrong and didn't try to provoke the incident, but the Left and the news media would have us think otherwise.

Nancy Pelosi Isn't Here for Trump
"Nancy Pelosi is a badass." That sentiment is flashing across Facebook and Twitter feeds around the world right now. On January 16, Pelosi let Trump know that she would be cutting off his big State of the Union speech if the government remained closed. Trump decided that throwing a tantrum and canceling Pelosi's trip to see the troops in a combat area was the right way to deal with her. It has backfired and Pelosi is now regaining the respect of Democrats and more moderate Republicans alike.

The Nation that Cried Wolf
We have become a nation that caters to people’s individual feelings rather than what is best for society as a whole. Television shows have been removed because someone didn’t like what the writers had to say. Songs have been removed from the radio because someone dared say God's name in their lyrics. A cross was torn down. A monument removed. Millions of people were robbed of an experience because a few objected. This nation has come to use words like rape, racist, fascist, supremacy, and injustice with such frequency that the words and their meaning have lost their bite. I am ALWAYS on the side of a rape victim. A real rape victim. The trouble is, if a woman is yelling rape in today’s society, nobody even turns around. I, like many other people in this world, assume someone is trying to get attention at the cost of someone else. Retaliation is often the cause, a spurned lover that didn’t fully comprehend the meaning of the words “side chick.” He declines to carry on the relationship. She is going to make sure he pays for it. This entire populous is out for self, and it seems everyone wants to be famous, if only for two fleeting minutes. What people fail to realize is that when you get your two minutes of fame, nobody really cares. Honestly, you are simply the cause of the day, the latest meme or a video that makes it to viral status. If anyone remembers your name, it will be when an old YouTube video comes on and something like, “I remember this idiot” will be what is said in households across America. These stories are the impetus for this piece.
