Ah, C'mon, Don't Be THAT Guy
Pride is grand and love is divine, so when it comes to love, don't be THAT guy. -Dani Banani, 2021 (literally just now) Dating is woeful for all, regardless of being straight, gay, bisexual+, etc. No doubt the frustrations of finding a suitable partner for life can escalate to extremes, but sometimes you can turn those frustrations into funnies instead. So it's not ALL bad, right?

Documentary Review: 'Little Girl'
Little Girl is a heart-rending documentary about the struggles of a little girl who was born a boy. Sasha was born a boy but by a very early age, she began to express to her mother that she was really a boy. Sasha’s parents, at first, dismissed their child’s gender questions but, eventually, they were forced to come around. Now, they are tangling with schools, and bullies and Russian ballet coaches who keep working to make Sasha’s life far more difficult than it should be.

Blur
My fingertips trace the curve of a spine, and for a moment I am captivated at how smooth the skin feels. Girls Rule, Boys Drool
“When I grow up, I’m gonna marry Justin Bieber!” “No fair! I want Justin!” “You already have Zayn!” I sat quietly on the soccer field as my friends talked over one another. This was a daily occurrence. We’d get our lunches, find the shady spot under the big tree, and talk about boys until lunchtime was up. I’d rather practice my jump-roping, but I guess in fourth grade you don’t jump rope anymore. Instead, you talk about boys.

Scars
It was November, and the crisp coastal California air started to get that chill you can only feel in your bones when winter was just around the corner. It was my boyfriend Xean’s birthday when I met Jay. My best friend Nell and I took Xean out for what ended up being a seemingly pathetic and awkward celebration dinner at one of the local café’s in Seal Beach.
