sad poetry
The cathartic nature of poetry makes it one of the best outlets to channel feelings of sadness, emotional turmoil, grief and despair.

Tree Stump
sad stump of a tree once a carrotwood stood there I still remember. I go neighborhood walk daily and greet the trees. I feel sad if any of them fell down or was chopped down. I think, as they give us air, shade and a lot of other necessities, we need to honor them.

HAD I NOT SEEN THE SUN
HAD I NOT SEEN THE SUN 3-3-2026 I watch a lot of Asian shows with subtitles cuz they tell such good stories. There was a show called "HAD I NOT SEEN THE SUN" about a young man in prison for being a serial killer. When it is all said and done, the story was how he avenged a girl that befriended him even in his troubled home life. I do no justice to the raw emotions and the feel of the story. Please watch. But the title is what stuck with me most. I love the feel of it and all it implies. She was his sun.
