Not All Men But Some
There are some good ones left, it’s just finding them

Not all men but some
Men who hurt and leave you bleeding,
Words like knives, hearts deceiving.
They promise love, then turn away,
Leaving scars that never fade.
With every touch, a crack, a break,
A whispered lie, for love’s own sake.
Their empty eyes, their cold embrace,
A fleeting warmth that leaves no trace.
They take your trust and turn it thin,
Their absence cuts beneath your skin.
Leaving you lost, raw, and scarred,
As they move on, never looking back far.
But in their wake, you find your strength,
Though bruised, you’ll rise at any length.
For you are more than they could see—
A heart, a soul, forever free.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites
