The Joy of Napping
My name is Chantelle. I am a 28 year old woman, and I love to nap. Ever since I can remember, my Dad has taken an afternoon nap. I began to follow in his footsteps when I was about 16, due to teenage lethargy, and I haven’t looked back. Even now, as an adult, naps are an essential part of (most) of my days.

Symptoms of Dehydration
Dehydration a condition that occurs when a person doesn't have enough water in the body to function normally. Being out in the heat for long periods of time could cause dehydration. Unfortunately, some people might not even know they are dehydrated until they feel sick and need medical attention. Dehydration occurs when water loss in the body is greater than water intake, and the body temperature goes above 105 degrees.

Channel Your Stress
Sometimes just breathing isn’t enough... sometimes we just need to yell. Having grown up in an environment that had me constantly on edge, I can attest that having an outlet for our energy is one of the most important places we could place our willpower. A child’s tendency to become its environment as it grows into an adult is too great to acknowledge and not attend to.

Sometimes the Shadows Win
So many helpful blogs focus on managing personal anxieties and mental illness. This is a wonderful trend in media, and helps many people find ways to keep their minds from dragging them into the void, but it doesn't address what happens when you encounter someone who chooses not to manage their anxiety in a positive way. We know that all the good advice in the world is completely useless if it is ignored. Just as we all know that it's extremely difficult to force people to see that the way they choose to "handle" their problems isn't always the healthiest path.

15 Things to Do When You Just Need to Unwind
Can't life be just a little too much? Oh, who am I kidding? Sometimes life is too much, where you would literally want to grab a bunch of food and snacks, get a good playlist going, hop in the car & just drive and go somewhere where no one knows your name and where you have no responsibilities, am I right? Mmhmm, yeah I know, I've been there, and I know I am not alone. Well, unfortunately, life doesn't work that way, but I can tell you this, we may not be able to hop in the car and disappear, but there are things you can do to get close to that for just the right amount of time.

Fighting to Rest
In my last article, I wrote about how I took some time off working to refocus and become more aware of what I am passionate about—I took a plunge into the freelance and business world, become bold and confident in the skills that I have had time to develop. In that time, I noticed that I developed the mentality of having to work constantly to keep momentum, but honestly, that is not actually true. When you continuously work, you set yourself up for the ultra hustler mentality where you feel that if you stop working for even a few hours, everything will crash and burn. I am here to tell you that is not true—we all need rest—whether it is a few hours a day or just once a week.

Five Tips for a Better Bedtime Routine
There is a saying that many follow, and it goes, "work hard and play hard," but one of the things that it does not mention is sleeping. For many that both work and play hard, getting enough sleep is the thing that is hard for them. They can't seem to get into a comfortable sleep routine, and eventually it catches up with them. The lack of sleep can affect people in various ways. Some might find themselves with less energy for playing. Others might find that they start to doze off when sitting at their desks. An even more dangerous situation may arise where they start to doze off while driving. This is why it is important to create a better bedtime routine to get enough sleep each night.
