Exclusive Interview - Sarah Edwards, costume designer for Apple TV+’s Severance. Top Story - June 2022.
Costume designer Sarah Edwards has collaborated with some of the most talented actors, directors and craftsmen in the industry. She’s worked on everything from small independent films to Oscar winners to big budget action flicks. Some of her most notable credits include Ocean’s 8, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Salt, and The Devil’s Advocate. Sarah’s most recent work can be seen on the Apple TV+ series, Severance. I chatted with her about the first season of Severance as well as trying to tease some hints about what we can expect in the second season. What follows is a lightly edited version of her video interview comments (for grammar and time considerations).

From the ashes of bands forced off the road during lockdown, three musicians from across the country united to create a spark of an idea that lit the fire that was to become Darkside Drive, the flames of which burn bright in their creativity. The band has created a distinct take on 80’s music, goth and darkwave. The songs are a poignant look behind the curtain of suburbia and delve into the darker side of life. The band is busy writing and releasing new material, and looking to go on tour towards the end of the year. Vocalist, Steve Burden, took the time to answer our questions.

His name is Yip — and it's one you won't forget. Top Story - June 2022.
Paddy Crewe’s debut novel is set in northern Georgia and the mountains of Tennessee in the early years of the 19th century. My Name Is Yip is an adventure story, a tale of struggle against great odds, a paean to the power of friendship. Its narrator is unable to speak — and so he learns to communicate with slate and chalk. “My name is Yip Tolroy & I am a mute,” his account begins. “I have made not a sound since the day of my birth, October 2nd, 1815. I will say that my life has been something of a trial but such is God’s wish & so I must tell my story here on the page.”

Interview With Author Rebecca L. Fearnley
Rebecca has been obsessed with two things since she learned to walk and talk: stories and animals. Luckily, the two seem to be very compatible. She writes stories set in strange worlds filled with bizarre creatures, strong female characters and magical powers. She started her writing career as a poet, performing all over the country and publishing her first collection, Octopus Medicine, with Two Rivers Press in 2017.
