Half of a Treasure Map
Jenna almost threw the letter away, thinking it was junk mail. It wasn't mailed, merely taped to her door. Something stopped her as she ripped open the envelope and pulled out the folded pieces of paper. One was a letter and the other was a ripped map.

The Little Black Book
The sun peeked its rays through the vertical blinds on Rose’s waking face as she opened her eyes to a view of memories that were forgotten during her sleep. The scent in the pillow, the comfort of the worn out blanket that kept her warm that night were all signs of her mother who was viciously murdered. Her heart hurt with each beat while her tears fell endlessly in what felt like an abyss of turmoil. Why would anyone want to hurt her, she thought to herself over and over again knowing she’d never get an answer since the case went cold, left unsolved. Rose knew there had to be more to the story, her mother wasn’t the type of woman to get mixed up with anything that would result in her death. At least she didn’t think so.

Empty Pages
Perhaps it was her love of paper that helped April spot the little black notebook, half-hidden beneath a drift of crisp yellow leaves on a bench she always passed on her way home from work. She liked collecting little notebooks, just to have them as much as to actually write in them. She had three shoeboxes full of blank ones. Such lovely, pristine empty pages, just full of potential.

Amber
Amber 1705 April 15th. A young girl is standing on the edge of a cliff looking at the ocean. Her long brown hair is waving down her back every time the wind blows. Her sky blue eyes are filled with tears as the ship is pulling to the docks. She looks down at people rushing to meet their loved ones and coast control is about to have a closer look at the ship and the orders that it carries. This ship is supposed to bring wool and amber just like Jhons ship was supposed to.

Oddbook
In my usual morning routine, I woke up before the sun rose and made my fear of the dark obsolete. Yeah, I know. Still afraid of the dark at this age. In many instances, I have no clue to which age group I belong though. I'm the kid in the company I work for, while visiting home, younger siblings revere me as an adult. Guess cash does the trick.

Reno
Starting on a renovation of a house this old is not difficult for me; but, it's my first time doing it! The home was owned by a cantankerous old man who no one knew but also, no one liked. Somewhat like a hermit, he only came out once a week; on Saturday. He bought necessities to stay alive and only that. Nothing he bought was for personal hygiene; and it was evident by the odor he "dusted" the aisles with.
