Are You Forcing a Relationship?
"Relationships are like farts. If you have to force it, it's probably shit." If there's one thing I've been very guilty of, it's forcing a relationship. It's because the one thing I've wanted, more than anything else, was a spouse. Unfortunately, my way of handling everything is to doggedly and aggressively pursue what I want until I get it or give up.

Let’s Talk About Boys
Boys are tricky; let’s just get that out of the way. As much as some say they don’t understand us, it’s vice versa. This story takes place back in high school. The good old days right? Not exactly. I’ve practically been single my whole life. I’ve only had a few relationships. But now, I wouldn’t count them as an actual relationship.

Love, Loathing, and Self-Flagellation
How do you love someone so much that it hurts? When does it stop being love, and transition into longing? How do you tell someone who loved you when you weren’t ready — that you hate the waiting knowing they waited for you? How do you remain steady in your own course, when feeling remorse for the love that you lost? Was your own self-preservation worth losing the chance for love so much like your own?

All It Takes
Early August 2016. The same day I lost faux-love, I found the real thing. I spent four years in a relationship with a guy I fell for my senior year. He taught me how to stand up to one of my fears, and expanded many of my horizons, as I was a very sheltered child. Long story short, we dated four long, strenuous years. A lot was said, and one thing led to another and I was giving him the key to his apartment back saying, "We're done!"

Ex-Alt-Delete
Uncomfortable. Bold. Salty. These are three words to describe having sex with a person for the first time. You guys are finally alone, and although in your fantasy of this moment you had a lot to talk about with this person, suddenly you're speechless. The silence is so awkward that it becomes deafening, not to mention, if you tend to be anxious like me, your hands are probably all hot and sweaty, and yet in the same instance, you can't wait to touch who you hope to become future bae, or maybe it’s simply a booty call. I don't judge.

Polyamorous Relationships
Let me just start by saying that I am a firm believer in everyone's right to happiness. Whether that happiness comes from dating one person, (man and man, woman and woman, man and woman), or that happiness comes from dating multiple people (woman, man, woman, or man, woman, man, or three women, or three men).
