The Best Gaming Console
Some events in your life seem to seal your destiny for many years to come. One such event took place in my life during the 1980's when my father surprised my brother and myself by purchasing us the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). We had played it before at a relative's house, but that does not compare to owning one yourself and playing whenever you want to (or at least when Mom and Dad say it's ok). The fatherly gesture made that day would spark a love for gaming in me that, 30 years later, has yet to let go. Thinking about the time I've spent gaming over those years, I began wondering, what was the best time I had and with what console. For me, this was actually a tough choice between my number 1 and 2 spots, so, because the choice was so close, we'll begin with the runner-up.

Benefits of Computer Games
Computer games, console games, and internet-hosted games can all have benefits for their users — a statement some might not believe, but let me explain for the doubters. Firstly, I am a middle-aged man who has only recently had access to his first decent console for games playing and only played Facebook-hosted games on the computer. I have, in my time, played numerous arcade-based games, so I know the genesis of many of the more popular console games. Some have been recreated from arcade-based systems or have been developed from similar games.

Best Racing Games of 2017
Aside from other video games such as fighting and shooting, racing games are pretty much up there on best types of video games. It's true — it's so much more different than any other because you're actually not killing someone! The thrill of driving a race car and managing to get first place while you're neck and neck with your opponents can really make anyone sit at the edge of the couch in nervousness and excitement. It actually gets your blood flowing.

Best Super Mario Bros. Games Ever Created. Top Story - October 2017.
It's not a stretch to say the Italian plumber, Super Mario, has influenced almost every adventure-style game that came after it. These massive video game worlds of today wouldn't exist without the iconic game's incredible influence — which dates back almost 40 years at this point.

'Giants War' Beta Review
I will begin this review making it clear that this is not a sponsored review. With that out of the way, I can not recommend Giants War enough. Although its tutorial is slow and exceedingly long (as are many mobile gaming tutorials), it quickly makes up for it with its fast past battles, beautiful graphics, as well as the replacement of the dreaded Energy based system, and instead choosing to use the in-game currency to not only buy/sell/upgrade items, but also preform the same function as energy in many of the Gamevil games we already love.

Shadow of War Review
Reviewed by Some Guy Monolith's New Stealth/Action RPG Shadow of War is an open world action/stealth game by Monolith Productions. The “open-world” of the game is made up of several areas, all in or around Mordor. You start the game trying to track Celebrimbor’s kidnapper through Cirith Ungol. You may recognize this as being the area from The Return of the King where Sam fought Shelob the Spider and rescued Frodo from the Orcs. After a quick tutorial here, the first real area of the game is Minas Ithil, “The Tower of the Moon,” as you help the Gondorian defenders hold the city against the Witch-King’s forces. And after the first cutscene explaining that… Yeah, you can pretty much do whatever you like, it throws you into a sandbox.

Relationships Within Video Games
In the modern age, video games have continuously built upon relationships between the various virtual characters and the player. The Sims and Mass Effect series are well-known for the relationships that the player can have with a multitude of characters. I have played both, and with each, I have a moral decision on who I should and shouldn't try to have relations with.

Gaming, Dad Style
I've always enjoyed gaming—maybe a little too much, at times—but at the beginning of this year, I found out I was going to be a father. Putting aside all the emotions that come with that, I set out to find ways to make my habit a little easier to keep up, even with a newborn around.

Review: Sky Factory 3
I thought to play Minecraft was already difficult enough when I first picked it up a few years ago, but with the release of different mods and such, little did I know that it could get a lot more difficult, and you could be playing a whole different game.
