The boundless love a parent has for their child is matched only by their capacity to embarrass them.
2025 Baby Name Trends
If you are anything like me, baby names are one of the first things you attar dreaming about the moment you find out you are pregnant. As an Orlando maternity photographer, I get to go inside the minds of my clients asking about their baby's name and how they picked it. It's always so interesting. The top factors that I parents share with me that they consider when choosing a baby name are the meanings of the name, family connection, and some go with what is unique or even popular at the time. For me, when my husband and I chose the names of our children we went with strong meanings. And in 2025, the trends are full of fun and meaning. So let's talk about them.

Displaying Your Maternity Photos at Your Baby Shower
A baby shower is one of the most exciting and meaningful celebrations during pregnancy. It's a time for family and friends to come together to shower the mom/dad-to-be with love and support. I Raised My Sibling — But No One Raised Me
There’s a strange ache that comes with being the eldest in a brown household. You’re born into a role you never signed up for, and before you even realise it, you’re balancing two identities: a child in your own right and a substitute parent for the one who came after you.

"Dad, Why Did You Pretend Everything Was Fine When It Wasn’t?". AI-Generated.
I’m not writing this because I’m angry. At least, not only because of that. I’m writing this because I wish you had trusted me enough to let me in. To let me see the cracks before they became impossible to hide. To let me know that pretending everything was fine doesn’t make the pain disappear—it just leaves the people who love you feeling like strangers in their own home.

The First Day Of School
“Mom, can you take Paxton for a haircut? School starts tomorrow. I’m sorry for this last-minute thing. I am taking Brynn for school clothes later today.” Really? No problem. I can do that. If I leave now, I will pick him up and see if we can find a place before my noon meeting, or get it cut afterward.
