Some Fun Little Lesser-Known Facts About Child-Rearing
Learning how to make babies all the way to raising them until they become adults has been quite a ride. I remember watching “the video” in eighth grade Health. We all had to draw the ins and outs of the vagina and penis and for 13-year-olds of both sexes sitting less than a foot away, it was a time I would’ve begged for homeschooling! (I can still remember Matt’s face as I looked at his vagina and he peered at my penis.)

The Four hundred Dollar GI Joe
Let me start by saying I am a sixty-six-year-old male. That is still a ten-year-old at heart. Growing up, all of my friends and I had GI Joe action figures. Apparently, the manufacturer knew boys would not want to call their GI Joe's dolls. We had a hard time arguing with our friend's sisters that they were not "dolls." They were "action figures."

Save Marriage With Professional Counsellors - Winning the Battle
When one partner is feeling overwhelmed or unhappy in their current relationship, they often need advice from a professional that can help them figure out what's really going on and figure out a way to improve their relationship. When one partner is feeling depressed or even hopeless, they often need someone who knows how to get their attention focused on the things that are positive in their life instead of dwelling on negative things. The thing about many relationships is that some issues are easy to deal with while others are much more difficult to deal with. Having an expert take a look at the situation can really help.

Every Lesson I Wish My Parents Taught Me
We need to let go of the past if we’re going to enjoy life My dad has always said that if he’d known about everything they had to go through in order to come to Canada (they had to deal with actual pirates), he never would’ve made the trip. If my parents never made the trip to Canada, I don’t know what my life would be like now or if I would even be here with this blessed life.

What to Keep
The best-kept secret for spring cleaning has to be divorce. I’m here to recommend it, if you too married an abusive person with mommy issues. Simply drop that sorry sack out at the curb, et voilà, you may twirl your own apron strings and stand back in satisfaction. Breath in a big whiff of that fresh, lemony scent of bitterness.

Start with the Heart
The hangers were all the same and lined up evenly-spaced between the color- and style-sorted shirts that were hanging on them. Shoes that weren’t worn often were removed from the tidy shelf where only my favorite choices were allowed to stay. The bed was made like a housekeeper had been there and nothing was out of place. I dressed in the quiet of the morning, the only sounds were the birds outside the window perched on the lilac bush. The peaceful stillness wouldn’t last but the noise that was coming would be welcomed. As I sat down at the counter with my morning steamed chocolate, I opened my planner, which I already knew was full of just the right number of activities and tasks to keep me on track but not so much to push me over the edge with anxiety and overwhelm. I emptied the dishwasher from the dishes that washed overnight and began preparing breakfast for my children, who were in their rooms getting dressed. The sounds of their feet pounding down the stairs filled me with gratitude because my heart ached for the bang of the feet that were not coming.

Reclaim your Fun Bags after Nursing
Breastfeeding is a beautiful act of love and sacrifice. When a mother nurses her child, she is giving more than nourishment; she is bonding with her youngster. With breastfeeding comes the responsibility of providing your baby with healthy nutrition through your diet (BabyCenter.com, 2021). When it's time to wean your little one off the breast you have to do it with care for both of your sakes. Encouraging your baby to let go of the teat can be difficult for both of you, but it is a task you'll have to perform to reclaim your breasts.

So Much Spring Cleaning
My interpretation of spring cleaning has changed drastically this 2021 season. For the first time in my 35 years, I am seeing spring cleaning as a time for spiritual cleaning, unlimited self-care, and healing inside and out. My 2020 could have been the most traumatic year of my life, however, it is a year that I will be forever grateful for. In the midst of a global pandemic, remote working with two boys, a Masters degree, and being a wife, I was able to bring myself out of the deepest depts of my own past, and emerge into a beautiful butterfly. After 17 years I had to walk away from a marriage. A marriage that almost killed me both mind and body; however, it only made my spirit stronger than ever. I connected back to God and accepted feedback from others. This feedback helped me to believe in my inner goddess again and fight for my freedom to be the person I deserved to be.

Are You Making Your Parents' Life Better in the Older Part of Their Living?
We have four relations who live with us closely for most of our lives. It's our parents, siblings, spouse, and our children. There are other relations too, including our friends and a few colleagues who stay in our lives much longer, but those four relations are exceptional.
