A Glimpse into My Latest Reflections

The Temptation of His Voice
It started on an ordinary Wednesday, the kind of day that seems like a placeholder in the week. Julia had her routine: wake up, get ready, go to work, and return home. The mundane predictability was a comfort. Little did she know, this Wednesday was about to be anything but ordinary.

My recent reflection. Top Story - August 2024.
Life has its ways of teaching you important lessons. Everything that happens in our existence strides its convoluted intersectionality with a purpose, a purpose that in its divinity has an impactful metamorphosis in our reality. How little do we know about what is about to come when we so confoundingly announce that I know this is how my life would turn out to be. In its own magnanimous and unexpected ways, you would get to what you deserve rather than what you want in most anomalies that our choices create. Whether we get what we want or face a delay or rejection, every event is a rendered outcome of the myriad of choices we chose and how divine intervention in its beauty shielded us from the things that could have destroyed us.

My Narrative
Presently It's not a big deal, simply three stories from my life that I would like to share with you. The first tale concerns making connections. My biological mother, a young unmarried graduate student, decided to put me up for adoption because she felt strongly that I should be adopted by a college. I dropped out of Wesley College after the first six months, but I stayed around as a drop-in for another eighteen months or so before I really quit. Everything was planned for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife, but when I came out, they changed their minds at the last minute and decided they really wanted a girl. As a result, my parents, who were waiting to be adopted, received a call in the middle of the night asking if they would like to adopt this unexpected baby boy.
