Stream of Consciousness
Consensus Reality
I wake up every day around five in the morning, start the coffee, and find a reason to do this all over again. Every Day Is Exactly The Same by Nine Inch Nails could be my theme song. That's not a good thing. But I too have left little notes where only those who I intend will find them. Doesn't mean they will. They'd have to go looking and I'm not sure they should. But if they do, it's all there, a work of fiction, sure, but one that tells the truth.

January and February 2025: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
I messed up. In complete honesty, 2025 has been a whirlwind of difficulties and lessons that have humbled me in its entirety. Though lasting only two months in its stretch, I have danced through the storms that have wearied the brevity of my soul. Some days were radiating with a sense of hope and oozing peace that displayed the possibility of a bright future, while others had a sense of doom, the kind of despair that doesn't go away with a full night's sleep, or ice cream or a warm bubble bath. It is the kind of tiredness that lingers onto your soul in its deepest trench, leaving no room for any light to enter.

The Pain Echoed by That Laughter...
The Pain Echoed by That Laughter... School days—an era of innocence, a sky painted with endless memories, and the silent blooming of unspoken dreams. These years carve countless imprints on the heart, some fading with time, others remaining as scars that never truly heal.

The Ballad of Shadows
Title: The Ballad of Shadows Raheel was an aspiring musician, possessing a guitar and a voice capable of warming the coldest of hearts. Residing in the impoverished neighborhoods of Dhaka, he entertained patrons at modest roadside cafes and lively street corners, where the aroma of fried delicacies mingled with the vibrant sounds of the crowd, creating a disordered yet harmonious atmosphere. Despite his financial struggles, his fervor for music sustained him, with his melodies reflecting the burdens of his life and the aspiration for a brighter future.

Nothing But Lies. Content Warning.
I still remember that fateful day when I found an obituary eerily reminding me of you while scrolling through a writing publication I released articles in before. Odd, because the person mentioned there was born half a decade before you. He was also, well, a guy. But he had a good heart and a hardworking soul, both like the ones I saw in you.

You should be Studied
Warning! This story is based on true events It started the night my mother died. I had been at her bedside, watching the shallow rise and fall of her chest beneath sterile hospital sheets, her lips moving without sound. The machines hummed their mechanical dirge, counting down the final beats of her life. And in the cold fluorescence of the ICU, I saw it.

Unexpected encounters......
Today started like any other - a crisp, chilly morning, followed by my usual cycling and yoga routine. But then, out of the blue, I remembered I had to head to Maharani College which is a girls government college in Jaipur. To be honest, it's not my dream college, but I'm making the most of it since I didn't want to waste another year preparing for the CLAT (which I'd already cleared, but that's a whole other story). Anyway, I had some document-related work to take care of, so I decided to head to the college right away...

Sipping Wisdom: A Personal Journey of Meeting My Younger Self Over Coffee
The air permeated a sense of calmness and stillness as I entered the coffee shop ten minutes late, I saw my younger self sitting there reading a book as she was sipping on her favourite caramel ice cream latte. Engrossed in her tale, she scrunched her nose as she did not like a particular stance of the story, I smiled with a serenity-filled eye as I saw the beauty of innocence brimming in her eyes. Hurrying across the table I told her sorry I was late and she said it was no problem. She asked me what I would like to have and I ordered an iced mocha frappuccino as she made room for me to sit alongside her on the table.
