Village Routine
Sitting alone in her room, Claudia stares at the clothes spilling out of her wardrobe. It reminded her of a time when she used to have a life, at least be an active participant in life. Striking a match to light another cigarette. The alarm starts blaring. Its been years since she has been woken by an alarm. Rather naturally at least 20 minutes before hand. Still, she sets it. A calm routine in it.

So you like sneakers?
So I guess we need to start talking about shoes at some point, you know, because this story is ultimately about the shoes. It all seemed so very simple, and because of my situation at the time I could not imagine there being any real problem. I decided that I wanted a couple of pairs of Air Jordan’s, shoes that I would wear on my days off and evenings, that was it. I was not and I am still not a very trendy person. My outfits are first and foremost worn for comfort, and while I liked a little novelty, I definitely was not going for hype-beast or even modern day style. I am a big guy, so while my options maybe limited, I can still put a fit together.

I’m still in love with everyone who dumped me
So, we broke up. It’s been about a month, or maybe two now. It was right before Christmas. Did he even get me a gift? I can’t remember. I got him his early because I know the breakup was coming and I wanted to make sure I got him something. If I can’t remember what it was, who is the worse person?

So you say you like sneakers?..
So for some god forsaken reason you have decided that you like sneakers and have decided to delve deeper into the world of the sneakerhead . Because no one who loves you, and none of your so-called friends and family ( that term will later become to mean “ forget it, you will never own it”) hauled off and hit you over the head to immediately put you out of your impending misery, you do it. It is ultimately just a pair of shoes. You can only wear one pair at a time. It’s completely harmless, right?

Does This Make Me Crazy?
The planet seems so unorganized when I wake up in the morning. Like a hundred puzzle pieces have been dumped on the ground, and I spend all day putting the puzzle together. By the days end I only get the corners and edge pieces done. Some days I start working on the inside, putting together what will be parts of a successful future. But right now, I'm only getting to the edge pieces and corners. I feel a lot of progress making sense of the world as the day goes on, but I don't know what happens when I sleep, but it all falls apart. It falls apart regardless of when I got to bed, early or late.
