10 More Songs That Sound Surprisingly Good Slowed
Sometimes bops just sound better when the speed is taken down a notch. Last year, I introduced you to 10 Songs That Sound Surprisingly Good Slowed thanks to skilled YouTube editors. My little list surprisingly picked up more traction than I thought it would (thanks guys!) so I'm back on Vocal with more slowed songs to recommend. All of these come from my personal playlist, and they're equally fantastic for late-night grooving, relaxing, or crying.

12 Essential Bob Dylan Tracks
For all of those who still think "Why does someone with an asinine voice like Bob Dylan get so much critical acclaim?" and "Maybe he was good for his time, but this man seems incredibly overrated", there is evidently a reason people hold this artist in such high esteem. While you might not necessarily enjoy his music (whether the style, the voice or the genre is simply not to your liking), I do believe it valuable to add Bob Dylan to your music culture if you are someone who seeks to discover great art. It is to note that while these might not be the artist's definite all-time greatest songs, the twelve listed below are a considerable starting point to the wonder that is Bob Dylan. Lastly, my cousin and I once had a talk that if Dylan were to have suddenly died in 1976, his legacy amongst the unsurpassed songwriters of the last century would most likely remain intact to this day. Therefore, although he has continued to release substantial material since then, the twelve songs chosen here reflect his career until that point (with the release of Blood on the Tracks).

Taylor Swift is the narrator of "You belong with me", AND the villain.
You belong with me is probably one of the most popular Taylor Swift songs. Its reputation, however, changed a lot through the last ten to fifteen years, turning from a relatable love song to the "I'm not like other girls" anthem, although, overall, people still have a good memory tied to this single.

Wampire's "Magic Light" (Song Review)
One of my favorite things to do in the spring and summer is to go outside at night, lie on my back, and stare up at the night sky. I used to do this as a kid, and I still do it as an adult kid. Since Philadelphia is finally starting to thaw out, and spring is right around the corner, it won't be long before I'm out on my roof enjoying the sights and sounds of the soon-here vernal season. And when I do go out on my roof, I'm going to bring along Wampire's debut album Curiosity (released on Polyvinyl Records in May of 2013), so I can chill out and spill out to Wampire's psychedelic song "Magic Light." There's no better way to stare into the dark spacey sky than to do it while listening to dark spacey music.

february '22 playlist
Congratulations for making it through two months of 2022 already! It feels like it’s been at least four, but it’s ok. I always forget how short February is, until it’s here one day and ends the next. The month of love has reached an end. And this playlist does not have a lot of love songs…

Beacon's "Drive" (Song Review)
I'm not a huge fan of sappy love songs. Before you think I have a heart like Tin Man, let me assure you that's not even a little true. I love love. The world doesn't have enough of it. It's the best thing Hallmark ever created. When it comes to music, though, there's just too darn much of the sugary and syrupy sweet stuff.
