River Studio's acoustic night, Friday 8th July
I want to start this article off by thanking all the performers who played at this event. I hadn't actually met them before the event, as in some cases I actually found their music online. I have to say though, that everyone lived up to any expectation I had and the performances while all very different, were of high quality. Apart from me of course, but in all fairness, I barely got any sleep the night before and I hadn't eaten any dinner. Plus I had to worry about timing and making sure everyone turned up and if you don't know me I am a worrier especially when it comes to these sorts of things.

Ike Rhein Debuts New Music Video "Summer Breeze"
Earlier this year, Ike Rhein released the songs and music videos, "Messed It Up (feat. Luh Kel)" and "Violin," which garnered over 1.5 million streams/views and 2.5 million streams/views respectively. Ike Rhein is back, once again, with new heat. "Summer Breeze" is the perfect summer anthem...literally. "Summer Breeze" is a catchy, lovey-dovey Pop song that, in true Ike Rhein fashion, blends elements from various genres of music to capture the heart of even the pickiest listener.

You know what songs suck? pt.1
I'm probably the only one I know that not only dislikes songs on Apple or Spotify to make sure they never come up again, but I also make sure they go into their own folder to rot with the other songs that made me feel queasy, made me shake my head, made me exclaim "ugh shut up," or simply made me turn off because it just didn't...hit. Why? Maybe because I'm a hater to my core, or maybe I just like taking note of what songs I dislike and why. What do I do with them? Usually nothing except maybe bringing them up in conversation, or rolling my eyes when they play in the background of a tik tok video (I'm looking at you "Oh no. Oh no. Oh no no no--"NO GOSH NO.PLEASE STOP).

Those familiar with the more minute details of the progressive rock band Yes are sure to be aware of pre-Yes band Mabel Greer’s Toyshop. Originally active 1966 to 1968, the band was revived in 2014 and put out the album New Way of Life the following year. By the time of follow-up album The Secret (2017), Max Hunt from Yes tribute band Fragile joined the group.

The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society
Introduction To The Village Green The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society is probably the archetypal “English” album. There are others but this is the one that takes you into middle England probably more than any other album that you will hear.
