I fell in love with lo-fi music the second I heard it. It was perfect, almost like if it was created perfectly for me. I work 14-hour days and struggle to concentrate and lo-fi music helps me get SO MUCH done. I can literally work for hours and hours and don’t even realize that I have been sitting in my office chair for such a long time.

My Second Favourite Album: El Dorado by The Electric Light Orchestra
The genesis of the Electric Light Orchestra was a band that would take over from the Beatles at the fade outs to “Strawberry Fields Forever” and ”I Am The Walrus” , both heavy on strings but still steeped in rock. The Beatles had not been scared of orchestral arrangements and “Eleanor Rigby” contained only Paul McCartney on vocals , the music being provided double string quartet arranged by George Martin.

Songs for Spooky Season
I love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. I always go all out on my costumes, spending hours hot gluing, adding sequins, cutting fabric, you name it. I've dressed as the Bride of Frankenstein, a sparkling fairy princess, Twin Peaks' Laura Palmer, an astronaut, and even beloved icon The Babadook. I once spent 10 hours painting a giant canvas backdrop into a Pentagram design for a witchcraft-themed Halloween party, and I've strung enough spider webs to cover a whole graveyard. So yeah, I invest some time into Halloween y'all. (I can't wait to share what my costume is this year, but that's for a later story!)

Party Through the Past!
All Hallow's Eve. Samhain. Halloween. The names of one night dating back centuries, many traditions were lost throughout the years, a few stayed. People would dress as saints and sinners, knock on neighbours doors and sing silly songs, children were passed treats known as "soul cakes". Halloween today is much more embedded in popular culture and celebrated widely with each year many people trying to host the perfect spooky party. Costumes, treats and music have evolved through the decades. If Halloween wasn't enough of a theme for your party, how about an 80's themed Halloween party? Madonna or a white sheet both appropriate costume choices, perhaps recreate Michael Jackson's iconic Thriller video and host 80's zombies at your party.
