"Talking Brook: 'Yaron Brook Show: Harvard & Race, Trump & Impeachment'"
Two topics tangle with each other in this offering of The Yaron Brook Show. The Students for Fair Admissions claimed that Asians had a quota, and the policies behind the politics of the Trump impeachment. Dr. Brook lasers in on the idea that Harvard is accepting smaller numbers of applicants even though a greater amount of students apply to go to the Ivy League university. Dr. Brook agrees that Harvard should have the right to have whatever system it chooses to use as a private school. He says that parts of the Civil Rights Act ought to be redacted out of the law of the land.

"Talking Star: 'The Star Report’”
Star shines at the outset of the show with a question about squabbling in a mall. Mr. Torain wants to know who assisted the young woman to the mall. He also wants to know if there is a heterosexual adult mixer down in the Atlanta area. The other topic includes Steve Harvey’s daughter Lori Harvey, who allegedly tried to flee from the scene of a collision. Some guesswork comes into play on Star’s part as he says that Harvey must have said about his daughter that “God will handle this.” Mr. Torain would like to know if Lori tweaked on a substance prior to getting behind the wheel. He declares the exit of Bucwild from the rehabilitation “program” a “nightmare.”

Talking Star: ‘The Star Report: What is a Black Freedom Fighter?'
Boss Man Troi “Star” Torain acknowledges Atatiana Jefferson’s father Mr. Marquis Jefferson for his stance on postponing the funeral of his daughter. He then goes to the other topic of what it means to be a freedom fighter, in particular, a black one. Star talks about his Skype session with his girlfriend in California. Boss Chick Ronnie joins the show with her spirited voice. The two discuss the bizarre Cuba Gooding Jr. video that has resurfaced on the internet. Mr. Torain said that he looked like he was allegedly on “some good s––.” Ronnie says that to raise $250,000 is questionable. Star says that these family members want to purchase “C-Classes and take trips down to the Canary Islands”...allegedly.

Talking Brook: ‘Yaron Brook Show: Zuckerberg on Wealth, Navarro's Muse'
Dr. Yaron Brook brings his expertise in parsing through newspapers to his show. He claims that the best paper, The Wall Street Journal, still has errors, flubs, and outright “nonsense.” He disagrees with economists like Thomas Sowell who contends that economics is about “scarcity” but still holds him in esteem. Dr. Brook challenges the scarcity notion. He says that economics is about production and trade. He finds that we live in abundance. He offers the example of how you can take “gunky stuff” like oil and make it into something that can be made into a human value to be consumed. Epistemology (respect for facts, reality, and the mind) and ethics (defining a proper code of morality) ought to drive economics to the good doctor.

“Talking Brook: ‘Yaron Brook Show Economic Myths - Middle Class Stagnation’”
What Dr. Brook gets right (amongst a whole host of other topics) is economics. It’s his strong suit. He swings open the door to the show by redressing a commenter about the fallacy of how the standard of living has gone down in recent decades. He holds that an individual can do “fantastically well” today as opposed to the 1950s. Dr. Brook admonishes a YouTube commenter for not displaying sufficient grammar and spelling skills. He asks how someone determines their wages in the marketplace of worth. The good doctor concedes that while we’re in a good place across the world, things can be much better.

The Blood Lesson
Steady knocks of the ping pong ball on the table tennis table nearly lulled Lance Corporals Ellis Firth and Justison Haley into a stupor. Rather than a vigorous game of back and forth, the match seemed listless, dull. But the conversation remained energetic.

Mr. Torain flies right into the topic of whether Sammy “The Bull” Gravano is a model citizen or a SOB. He includes the other topic concerning the time it takes for a loving relationship to turn sour. Lenard McKelvey is “big mad” at the Hater. What this side topic reveals is that Star is aware of the media landscape and conveys a message that brings to light the foul-ups in the industry. Star says that he will rock solo if Ronnie never checks into the show. Mr. Torain wonders if his viewers and listeners care about The Bull opening up on some shady dealings from Cosa Nostra. Star says that he “gave it up sweet.” He takes a call to get input from an audience member.

It’s an exclusive tonight on a Wednesday for the original Objective Hater. Mr. Torain talks first about a Walmart health center which opened up in Georgia. Next, he flips to the other topic about the word being used by actress Gina Rodriguez. Again, the show incorporates three stories with the Cuba Gooding Jr. mess.

On a Tuesday, Mr. Torain describes the rainy and cold weather as a sign of Autumn, which is part of “cuffing season.” He thought about locking down a female, and then banished the idea. Star says that he will be going harder in this webisode. New information says that Atatiana aimed her firearm at the officer(s) according to the eight-year-old nephew. In relation to the main topic, Star doesn’t care what LeBron James has to say. Mr. Torain then asks whether James is an expert of foreign policy. Star insists that the basketball megastar should be focused on a “goddamn championship.” A total of fourteen women have spoken out against Cuba Gooding Jr.

Talking Brook: 'Yaron Brook Show: Economic Lies—Wages & Productivity'
After some technical difficulties, Dr. Brook outlines the show. He wishes everyone a happy Columbus Day and sets the tone for the show. He will be talking about economics, something that some people may find to be dry and boring. But not with Dr. Brook. He enlivens each talk about this subject with easy-to-follow examples, and he explains big words so that anyone can understand the arcane terms. Dr. Brook points out that if an employer doesn’t pay you for the work you do and you deserve it, then you should go to the intelligent employer or remain at the level for which the original employer will pay you.

Talking Star: 'The Star Report': Three More Women Accuse Cuba Gooding Jr.
Star starts the show by wishing everyone a great Columbus Day. He describes the man as an explorer and a syphilis carrier. Here, Star displays his hatred laced with humor and honesty regarding such a controversial historical figure. Mr. Torain asks his audience if the Italian explorer ever stepped foot in North America. The topic then shifts to the murder charge of former cop Aaron Dean. Then, the talk concerns allegations of sexual misconduct leveled at Cuba Gooding Jr. Star then refers to Roland Martin as a powerhouse but questions whether the man is still a “factor.” Tammy Kemp appears to be “on tour” or the media circuit in connection to her actions in the Guyger case.

Scrambled Eggs
The smell of coffee and paper wafted through the train car. A business class interior permitted the tired passengers to experience some semblance of comfort. To ease their minds they watched on demand videos and read books or worked on projects on their tablets, phones, and laptops. Their weariness did not prevent them from completing tasks. The strong scent permeated through the car as if the coffee had been brewing the whole time right there instead of the train’s galley.
