What Are the Only Three Things in This World?
There are only three types of things in this world: our own affairs, other people's affairs, and God's affairs. We can only control our own affairs; the affairs of others and of God are difficult to change.

The Paradox of Acceptance
What you accept disappears. Psychologist Steven C. Hayes once conducted a fascinating experiment that revealed a truth we often overlook: what truly causes pain is often not the emotion itself, but the resistance we desperately use to suppress it.

Why Reciprocal Proximity Matters More Than Boundaries
Beyond boundaries, what's more important is "reciprocal proximity." I once had a friend who constantly asked me to visit her. I went five times, and she never once offered to come over, yet we always had a great time together.

The Silent Love of Middle Age
When people reach middle age, the biggest fear isn't loneliness, but falling for someone they shouldn't. At this point in life, it's not that no one pursues you or that no one is there for you; it's the moment someone truly connects that you know the danger has arrived. What Is 'Suitable'?
Someone once asked me, "What is 'suitable'?" I paused for a moment, thinking about the friends I’ve grown close to. I realized that one of the things I enjoy most in my daily life is simply being with them. Even when we're not doing anything, we never feel bored. Even the silence becomes a joy. When we don't feel the need to rush and fill the gaps with conversation, it's the most ordinary yet cherished time of my life. No matter how far apart we are or how long it's been since we've talked, the thought of the things we've done together still makes the corners of my mouth turn up. Having someone in your life who can make you smile even when they're not around is a blessing.

Will I Ever Be Truly Loved?
Perhaps it's the lack of stability during childhood that makes you yearn even more for a happy family. The attachments you developed with your parents deeply influence how you relate to others in the future. If you were constantly ignored, blamed, or told to be "sensible," obedient, and quiet, you may have long been accustomed to suppressing your emotions. This is because you fear that if you express your true feelings, you'll be disliked, rejected, or even abandoned.
