Window

Poem

By Manuel C.Published about 5 hours ago 1 min read

Window.

Empty window

Do not kill the words.

Fill with moisture every crystal grain of yours.

And your two leaves, eyes that gape open..

And I look at you with wonder.

Do not be afraid. I simply hurt.

I do not hold a double-edged knife in my hands.

I want love, warmth.

A small, very small consolation.

Do you understand now why I look at you?

Myself, forgive me.

0-0-0

And I turn my gaze.

The little bear you gave me looks at the lake with the lotus too.

Because I am only crystal, I do not paint nature like God.

It stops the heartbeat of time with its gaze.

It truly eternalizes the moment.

And I try to imitate it.

And I envy. I envy. I envy so much.

A/N:

I am a window. I look at the lake, but I can no longer paint. Punished for my previous life. Now I wait for the little bear to paint my joy. Paint for me, my good little bear. Please.
