The dance begins,

A shuffling two step,

A lean forward,

A shy grin

"Hi"

A lean back,

a smile

"Hi"

The steps come slowly,

We learn them together,

but it always comes back

Again.

A shuffling two step

A lean forward,

a shy grin

"Hi"

A lean back,

A smile

"Hi"

The music changes,

The melodies split,

Harmonious,

Complicated.

Finding the balance

And beauty in trust

But it always comes back

Again.

A shuffling two step,

Swaying together,

A lean forward,

A familiar grin.

"Hi"

A lean back,

Squeezing hands,

A smile

"Hi"

And we come back to the beginning again.
