Two Days of Consideration

Its been two days,

well not even, but I told you id give you space,

to think about us, if we are something worth trying for,

it doesn't take me two days to even consider it,

but there it is,

I am not you, and if you asked me what I am asking you,

it wouldn't be a consideration,

it would be a challenge to understand you more,

Just like I am trying to do now,

but the silence, I gave you time for,

feels like when you would lay on my chest,

restrictive, forced into submission,

but this time, I don't get to feel you on top of me,

I don't get your laugh and the conversation in between,

The fact that what I am asking for qualifies as a consideration,

A consideration on if my needs are too much for your determination,

A quiet trail run to see if you miss my presence or my voice,

two days of silence, not reading my text, avoiding the resolution,

honestly, I put myself here, to give you time,

but the time is what makes me what to pull away and make a decision of my own,

Because if you valued me, valued my needs and valued what I thought we both wanted,

It wouldn't take two days of consideration,

so maybe thats it, maybe I don't want you because I don't want it to take two days of consideration,

Maybe the time you spend not thinking about it,

But it is giving me the time to realize maybe its not worth it to me.
