The Sky Path
I walk this path
above the clouds,
where silence moves
like hidden breath.
The stones hang loose,
the air so thin,
the world below
falls far from me.
The sun waits still,
a burning watch,
a distant call
that pulls me on.
I feel its reach
through drifting mist,
through quiet thoughts
that rise and fall.
I take each step
with fragile hope,
with memories
I cannot shake.
The sky looks torn
yet filled with light,
a place between
what was and is.
My shadow falls
without a sound,
a fading mark
on endless blue.
I walk for peace,
I walk for rest,
for names I keep
deep in my chest.
And on I go
across the stones,
towards the glow
that waits ahead.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites
