The Glow Between Us

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished about 3 hours ago 1 min read

[Verse]

The fire between us glows so bright

Not a blaze of sorrow

Not a fight

It’s not a pyre of regret

Not a cruel goodbye

It’s a warmth that lingers

A soothing sigh

[Prechorus]

Fingers trace the edge of the flame

Hearts whisper

Calling my name

[Chorus]

Glow between us

It never fades

Not ashes

Not shadows

No charred remains

Glow between us

Lighting the dark

A tender fire

A beating spark

[Verse 2]

The night wraps us in a velvet sheet

Our love

The rhythm

Our hearts

The beat

No smoke to choke

No ember to blame

Just a glow that sings

That calls my name

[Bridge]

Flicker

Shimmer

Dance so slow

This fire

It builds

It doesn’t go

It’s not a destroyer

It’s not a thief

It’s the fire of hope

The flame of belief

[Chorus]

Glow between us

It never fades

Not ashes

Not shadows

No charred remains

Glow between us

Lighting the dark

A tender fire

A beating spark
