Poison From The Fox

Sly, Cunning, twisted inside

Poison from the fox

The perfume he bought her, pure poison,

Venom from the slyest fox,

A fragrance that whispered with deception,

Lurking like shadows on soft rocks.

It danced on her skin like a velvet curse,

In every breath, a trap well-laid,

The scent of desire, sweet and perverse,

A promise of love that soon would fade.

He watched her inhale, unaware,

Of the danger that clung to the air,

Each note a lie, each whiff a snare,

Love’s sweet poison beyond compare.

Her eyes grew heavy, her smile turned cold,

The world shifted, the truth turned gold.

But in the perfume’s scent, old secrets sold—

A story of hearts and minds controlled.

she walks now in silence, the the fox her guide,

A heart once free, now damaged inside.

For the gift of love was a turn in the tide,

A kiss from the slyest fox with nowhere to hide.
