My behavior is not always the best.
Sometimes you will find me yelling,
“Leave me alone.”
What is that?
As Sigmund Freud said,
every behavior has its origins
in our childhood.
I know I must earn on my own,
my family is not well-off enough,
to support all my dreams,
or offer a life of comfort.
But I can upskill, no worries there,
what I need is time and freedom,
So, I guard these fiercely.
Now, with little kids to care for,
my time has shrunk,
and responsibilities have multiplied.
I am constantly thinking,
I need time to earn,
but my time is so little,
The mismatch bothers me,
I find myself yelling,
“Leave me alone.”
