Hawaii

My happy place

Turquoise water crashing,

down on to the shore

As I’m looking out,

the airplane window

Sun beaming, down

A reflection so intense

you can see a rainbow has set, into the water

So vibrant with its beautiful colors

The natives of “Hawaii” are so happy and kind

The food is so nice and fresh

The air is clean and pure

The vegetation so beautiful with its greenery

The mountains so full of rocky edges and characteristics

That are full of life and adventure

The most beautiful,

place in the World

So calm,

Quiet

with its tranquility

I feel alive, at peace

while I’m learning to surf,

those beautiful waves

Then its time

I sit

drinking a Mai Thai,

As I watch the sunset,

On this Autumn evening,

I breath it all in

I’m finally here at my happy place.
