Every Little Tear Drop

Falls to drown my heart šŸ’”

Every Little Tear Drop

Every little tear drop drowns my heart.

Did you even love me at the start?

I watched the silence slowly grow,

A hidden pain you’ll never know.

Your touch once warm now like a stone,

Leaving me lost confused and all alone.

The dreams we built have torn apart,

Like shattered glass upon my heart.

Even though the night may seem so long,

I’ll find the strength to carry on.

In the quiet dark, my heart beating on

A promise that healing hope brings.

Each shattered piece of me a work of art,

Rising from the ruins a brand new start.

No longer bound by sorrow’s heavy chain,

I rise to greet the light and learn to love again.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ā¤ļø#Marie381UkWrites
