How many times must someone lie for them to be a liar
How many sparks must one produce for it to start a fire
How many wins must someone win for them to be a winner
How many sins must one commit for one to be a sinner
Since we offend our Holy God with just a single sin
The Angels guarding Heaven’s Gates will not allow you in
And being good won’t save your soul, so don’t believe this lie
If our good works is all it takes, then why did Jesus die
We all have sinned and thus require a sacrificial lamb
To think that we can save ourselves, is Satan’s favorite scam
Bless-ed is the man who learns he cannot save himself
His journey starts when he removes that Bible from his shelf
Lord Jesus is the only one that never sinned at all
He is the way, the truth, the life, the hope when people fall
Once we’re redeemed, we’re justified, from this, our fleshly prison
Made possible by Jesus Christ, the proof that He is risen
