Doves of Peace I See You
Doves of peace,
I see you,
but the wicked are blind.
They build their towers on broken trust,
chasing power, craving dust.
Their mouths speak loud, their hearts stay cold,
all the while, your wings unfold.
You move through streets they never walk,
your silence louder than their talk.
I see you, strong in quiet ways,
while they stumble through their praise.
Doves of peace,
I see you,
but the wicked are blind.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites

The old story of Doves and Hawks. Too busy to see what is really necessary to see and think about. Good job.
