The 'Abrahamic Agreement' signed during President Trump's last presidential term was just a show and a means to achieve specific political goals

(Special Report: Journalist Malik Sarfaraz Hussain Awan) The Middle East is once again engulfed in gunpowder and flames. The American leadership, drunk on global power, has created a crisis that has brought the entire world to the brink of economic and defense collapse. As the president of the world's most powerful country, Donald Trump's recent statements and actions have forced us to think whether he is a wise leader of a great superpower or is suffering from a serious psychological and aggressive disease. It is clear from his every other statement that he has become indifferent to the ground realities and the value of human lives. The truth is that President Trump does not need the Strait of Hormuz or Iranian oil at this time, but he needs a proper and urgent mental treatment, so that he can save the world from the fire of the terrible war towards which he is rapidly moving.

If we examine the recent past, the fact becomes clear as day that the 'Abrahamic Accord' signed during President Trump's previous presidency was just a show and a means to achieve specific political goals. Today, nefarious attempts are being made to give this Abrahamic Accord a permanent status and make Israel the sole Chaudhry of the region. Behind this whole game are the long-standing desires of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to fulfill which the US President has opened the front of direct attacks on Iran. This aggression has not only destabilized the Middle East but has also opened the door to an economic disaster for countries around the world that is unparalleled in recent history. By bombing an important and oil-rich country like Iran, the entire world’s supply chain has been paralyzed.

The joy that is being felt in the eyes of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at this time is enough to expose the ulterior motives. Israel has always wanted the United States to use its full military power to crush its enemies, and Trump has fulfilled this desire. Another major factor behind this joy is also to harm countries like Pakistan that have a self-reliant and principled stance. Israel can never forget the fact that Pakistan has never recognized it as a state and never will. Pakistan has always been a supporter of the oppressed Palestinians. This is why countries like Pakistan are being pushed into the most severe economic crisis under the guise of this war.

The flames of the fire that is blazing in this region have now reached the hearths of the poor and middle class of Pakistan. The attacks on Iran and the tension in the Strait of Hormuz have caused the prices of crude oil to skyrocket in the global market. Petrol prices in Pakistan have increased to alarming levels and have broken all records. This huge increase in petrol prices has created a storm of inflation in the country that has devastated the lives of the poor. Daily food items, transport and electricity bills are now beyond the reach of the common citizen. All this is the result of this self-inflicted and forcibly imposed war that began with an unbalanced decision by the White House.

It is time for the American people, the American media and above all the American Congress to realize their responsibilities. Donald Trump is the elected President of the United States, but he is not the owner or dictator of the entire world who can invade any country and destroy the entire world economy whenever he wants. The American Congress should exercise its constitutional powers and rein in President Trump’s war-mongering actions. If children are starving and economies are collapsing due to Trump’s decisions around the world, then this is not just a political problem but a serious moral and psychological crisis. American institutions should go ahead and treat their president properly so that he does not make the world a hell anymore.

The facts confirm that if the world economy is truly on the brink of collapse at the moment, then the biggest and most fundamental reason for it is President Trump’s inflexible and belligerent policies. When the world’s largest economic and military system is in the hands of a person who, instead of talking, threatens to “return to the Stone Age,” then the collapse of economies is certain. The World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other economists are constantly warning that if this war continues for a few more weeks, the world will enter a worst economic crisis (Great Depression) that will take decades to recover from. Inflation, unemployment and the number of people falling below the poverty line are increasing by millions.

The international community, the European Union and the United Nations must now break their silence. They cannot watch this world being destroyed as silent spectators. It is certain that wars never solve problems, but rather create new and more complex problems. Instead of turning the Strait of Hormuz into a military arena, the path of diplomacy and dialogue on the basis of equality should be followed. The world needs peace at this time, not revenge. If we do not wake up today, history will hold the person sitting in the White House responsible for this disaster who, in his war madness, put the peace of the entire universe at stake to achieve his specific strategy. They tried.
