The phone buzzed at exactly 2:17 AM, breaking the silence.
Adam stared at the unknown number, his heart racing for no reason.
He almost ignored it—but something felt different.
The message read: “Don’t trust the mirror.”
Confused, he looked around his empty apartment.
Everything seemed normal, yet strangely distant.
He walked slowly toward the mirror in his room.
His reflection stood still… even when he moved.
A cold shiver ran down his spine.
Suddenly, the reflection smiled—he didn’t.
The lights flickered, and the phone buzzed again.
“It sees you now,” the next message said.
Adam stepped back, but the reflection stepped forward.
The glass cracked, as if something inside was trying to escape.
And then… the screen went black, leaving only silence behind.
