This is what I am.
I am the vision, I am the answer, I am the dream. When you surrender to the folds of Morbius' realms of sleep then you have me and I have you.
I am your greatest desire and your worst nightmare. Your favourite pet, and your total disaster. That is me. I am always here. Even when you are awake.
You know you have to sleep, and then I am here. I am the dream, my friend. I am your dream.
When I am here you do not know if you are awake or asleep, but I have complete control. I can take you on journeys to the highest peaks and most sunken deaths.
I am your most beautiful lover, and you never want me to leave, you want me for eternity, but you know that I must leave when you wake. Your memories of me fade as the day wears on until those memories are gone.
I am the dream, immortal, everlasting, I will always be with you, waiting for sleep to come.
I am the dream.
I am YOUR dream
I will never leave you.

Touch
To feel the touch of silk on your fingers, and the beautiful feel of a purring cat's fur. The delicacy of a butterfly's wings to make you feel you are in a faerie realm. The touch from the fingertips of someone who loves you, that you return and feel the electricity flow through the both of you that you do not want to stop. The feel of linen clothes on a summer day, and the sheets on your bed on a morning when you don't have to get up for work. The fur of a pet that comes to show their love and be close to you. The touch of a beautiful flower petal, releasing the aroma and scent that raises your spirit, with the natural perfume. Think of every beautiful touch in your life, and let them all touch your soul.

Every Handshake Delivered a Flavor She Couldn't Ignore THE GIFT NOBODY WANTED ๐ Nora Kim discovered her ability on her seventh birthday when her grandmother hugged her and she tasted cinnamon and honey so strongly that she searched the room for cookies before realizing that the flavors were coming from the embrace itself, from the warmth and love that her grandmother radiated through physical contact, and this was the beginning of a life lived through a sense that nobody believed existed and that transformed every human interaction into a gustatory experience that could be beautiful or revolting depending on the emotional state of the person touching her. Handshakes with strangers tasted like water, neutral and forgettable, but handshakes with people harboring hidden anger tasted like burnt metal, and the embrace of a friend who secretly resented her tasted like spoiled milk despite the smile on the friend's face, and this constant involuntary translation of human emotion into flavor meant that Nora could never be deceived about how someone truly felt about her because their body chemistry communicated through her tongue what their words and expressions might conceal ๐ฏ
