I like this! Glad that Our Song received honourable mention, because (although I'm not the expert you are) it seems to me one of the truest to Taylor's country roots, and suggests traditional country and western more than it does any sort of pop crossover. When I first went to lecture in China, I must admit I only knew Love Story. When the students told me Taylor Swift was a country and western star, I just assumed they didn't know very much about American music! Later through Our Song and the likes of Tim McGraw I learned how limited my view of Taylor Swift's music had been. She was of course huge in China, and I recall one day being driven somewhere, when Our Song started playing on the car stereo. My driver was impressed when I sang along! Blank Space too! I salute you, Queen F, as that may be my all-time favourite of hers. And You Belong With Me, whose video was every bit as significant as the song!
