Day begins the way it has every day since a time that I forgot.

I waken to the birds singing and the piece of mind that goes with the thankfulness of another day.

Dressing is much the same but as I stand in front of the mirror I recognise how different the clothes have become,each generation bringing something new or radical to the fashion industry that we all try to emulate in our own way,trousers,skirts,dresses and blouses,shirts,jeans and shorts all the same and yet so different. Smiling to myself as I think of my own fashion faux pas I brush my hair and recall,the mohawk phase that stunned my parents and had my grandfather in tears with laughter,the skinhead I'd worn in solidarity to raise awareness for cancer research,to the long flowing locks I now wore past my shoulders.

Heading downstairs to the front door the clock said half past eight,another half an hour until the milk man delivered my days bottles, prepping for a coffe I remembered a time when we would all rise at half past six in the morning and the milkman would already have delivered the milk,the newspaper boy wouljd have folded the paper and put it behind the bottles waiting to be read,nowadays I doubted they even printed papers never mind had paper delivery boys,or persons or however they get called these days. The kettle clicks as it finishes boiling and pouring the hot water once more a memory flashes back of kettles on the hob that whistled loudly after taking an age to boil. Family breakfasts in the winter round the fireplace,the summer on the back porch.

The world sure has changed now from how it is used to be.

In an effort to become more functional and precise the personal touch has been taken away,the people of the world now no longer know their neighbours,local farmers and cafe owners. In an effort to always be kind it only extends to the people that each individual knows whilst they drive someone else to suicide through their actions either virtually or in real life. Society itself has died and been replaced by beings of hatred spite and envy,every now and then a glimpse of hope shines through but even that will get snuffed out by preconcieved notions of who and what a person is based on no fact,just opinion. 

So will end the human race after life as we remember it finally lays down and says no more.
